Natixis has joined forces with Gustave Roussy and Racing 92 to support Movember, the international yearly men’s health event.
When two worlds collide: Racing 92 and Gustave Roussy
It may appear unusual to tie up Racing 92 and Gustave Roussy, yet who better than a group of men such as the Racing 92 players to work to promote the fight against male cancers? This is why we decided to ask our two longstanding partners to join forces with us to support Movember, the month-long event to promote awareness of male cancers and men’s health.
So the Racing 92 team, and six players in particular, agreed to take up the challenge to support the fight against male cancers, alongside Gustave Roussy. To kick off the event, the players Teddy Baubigny, Antonie Claassen, Bernard Le Roux, Franck Pourteau, Dimitri Szarzewski and Matthieu Voisin visited the Gustave Roussy research team. This meeting was an excellent opportunity for the Racing men to stand in the shoes of a research scientist and gain greater insight into the vast challenges of cancer research.
Movember, grow your moustache to support the fight against male cancers The Movember movement involves men growing their moustache throughout the month of November to show their commitment to men’s health, raise awareness of the issue among their family and friends and help collect donations for research. |
Raising awareness with moustaches!
Natixis has been actively involved in the fight against cancer via its support for the Gustave Roussy Foundation since 2011, and has been Racing 92’s official partner for ten years. The bank is set to organize a number of events throughout the month of November to raise men’s health awareness, including:
- Various events on social media, including videos featuring Racing 92 players and Gustave Roussy research staff,
- An awareness program with the public during the Racing 92 vs. Montpellier match on November 26, in the presence of Gustave Roussy members,
- A staff event to promote awareness on the fight against male cancers, which will include both Racing players and research staff.
Moustaches will be proudly on display for each of these events to further promote awareness of men’s health.
We are proud to work alongside our two partners as we all share our commitment to this cause.
