The Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index tracks the performance of 380 companies worldwide that are committed to supporting gender equality.

Gender equality in the workplace has been a central plank of our policies for several years, and we are proud to see our efforts pay off. Three years ago, we set the target of 30% of our senior management committee being made up of women, and we have now achieved 36%.

Increasing women’s representation in the financial industry is crucial, and so beyond the senior management committee, we also reiterate our commitment to ensuring that 40% of our various leadership groups are made up of women by 2024.

“We will also continue to work together to develop our talent pipeline, promote equal pay and support women in their career goals, as we raise awareness of these priorities to continue building a respectful, positive and inclusive working environment“, said Cécile Tricon-Bossard, Chief Human Resources Officer at Natixis.

The index measures disclosure and performance in 75 questions across five key dimensions i.e. female leadership and talent pipeline, equal pay and gender pay parity, inclusive culture, sexual harassment policies and pro-women brand. Companies are ranked on the basis of data provided and their quality.
