This conference day is being organized in honor of Nicole El Karoui, Professor, Founder and Joint Head of the “Probabilities and Finance” Master’s program at the Laboratoire de probabilités et modèles aléatoires at Université Paris 6 Pierre et Marie Curie, and member of the Scientific Committee of the Natixis Foundation for Research and Innovation.

Speakers will include Michel Crouhy, Head of Quantitative Research at Natixis and Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Natixis Foundation for Research and Innovation, and Pauline Barrieu, Professor of Statistics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and winner of the 2018 Louis Bachelier Prize awarded by Natixis and the French Academy of Science.

The day’s talks will be based on the following themes:

  • An atypical female configuration: mathematics and finance
  • The role of women in a digital society
