This year’s theme for the European Sustainable Development Week is Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies.

This theme embodies a number of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and particularly some that we have decided to tackle and share with our staff: take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts (SDG N°13 ), ensure access to affordable reliable sustainable and modern energy (SDG N°7), make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable (SDG N°11) and protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss (SDG N°15).

We will be taking the opportunity of European Sustainable Development Week to raise staff awareness on non-motorized transport by organizing bike repair workshops, and also promote the circular economy with a new waste sorting system.
