The long-awaited Extel 2018 poll results were published on Wednesday June 6. Oddo BHF/Natixis’ joint brokerage and research activities and Ostrum Asset Management were singled out from among 18,713 nominees by the 11,333 experts who voted. This annual survey identifies the best research, brokerage and asset management companies in the sector.
Market professionals this year attributed the following awards:
- Oddo BHF/Natixis ranks No. 1 Broker in France for the third year running;
- Ostrum Asset Management (formerly Natixis Asset Management) is ranked No. 2 Asset Management company in France for the fourth year in a row, and Ronan Poupon is No. 2 Best Asset Manager in France also for the fourth year running.
- Five analysts from Oddo BHF/Natixis are in the Top 5 research analysts in France, Philippe Ourpatian (1st), Benoît Valleaux (2d), Alex Koagne (3d), Pierre Tegner (4th) and Bruno Cavalier (5th).
Last but not least, the joint Oddo BHF/Natixis team also moved up the tables on a Europe-wide basis, with five sectors featuring in the Top 10 in Europe (Technology/semi-conductors, Aerospace/Defense, SRI, Technical Analysis, Hotels & Leisure).
