Natixis supports the Musée d’Orsay as sponsor for the Degas à l’Opéra exhibition to mark the Paris Opera’s 350th anniversary.
First exhibition devoted to Degas at the Opera in France
This extensive exhibition of more than 150 works takes viewers to the heart of the Opera, which was a focal point for Edgar Degas’ work right throughout his career as he investigated its various spaces and focused on the different people involved – dancers, musicians and spectators. His art captures the movement and reflects a range of viewpoints as it reveals the details of the stage and provides the viewer with echoes of its song, music and dance.
Natixis is a fervent advocate of culture
As a fervent advocate of art and music for the past several years, Natixis has supported the Paris National Opera since 2015 as founding sponsor for its Academy and main sponsor for its “Musicians in residence” program. Our support for the Degas à l’Opéra exhibition is a natural continuation of this commitment and we are proud to help thousands of visitors enjoy this extraordinary exhibition combining art and opera.
