Companies and investors are becoming increasingly concerned about the risks stemming from biodiversity loss and the destruction of natural ecosystems. Maintaining their resilience and ability to regenerate is crucial, especially to address the challenges related to climate change.

 

 

The Financial Times looked into these issues and interviewed our expert, Karen Degouve, Head of Sustainable Business Development within the ESR department at Natixis.

Her take: “Investors need to realise that it’s the same as climate change for natural capital loss. It is going to threaten the world’s economic stability at some point, and ultimately the survival of human beings.”
